It's aimed at learners who work as part of a team and ensure the provision of information and resources to others. It's suitable for working across a wide variety of sectors including NHS trusts, educational institutions, government departments, charities and the private sector. It's suitable for learners aged 18 and above.

ABOUT THE COURSE
The course consists of mandatory and optional units and covers topics like:
- Develop Health & Safety and risk management policies, procedures and practices in Health and Social care or Children and young people's settings
- Safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults
- Lead and manage a team within a Health and Social care or children and young people's settings
- Manage Health and Social Care practice to ensure positive outcomes for individuals
- Promote professional development
- Use and develop systems that promote communication
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification but learners should have ideally achieved qualifications in a related area at Level 3 or above. However this qualification can be accessed by candidates without such a qualification who have significant vocational experience ideally in a supervisory or management role.
ASSESSMENT METHODS
There are no formal examinations students need to sit and learning and achievement is assessed based on
portfolio building. The main decision will be made based on your course attendance, skills, knowledge, competence and performance in a real work environment.
