- The role of Health and Social care worker
- Implementing Health and Safety in Health and Social Care environment
- Promote a home and family environment for individuals
- Promote person centered approach in Health and Social Care
- Promote good practice in handling information in Heath and Care settings
- Reflect on and develop your practice
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
At least 5 GCSE's at grade "A" - "C" including Maths, English and Science (or equivalents, i.e Secondary/Higher Secondary School Certificates or "O" Levels)
English at minimum B2 Level (advanced) (if you are an overseas student, you will need to have a UKBA approved English Test.)
Candidates should be ready to undergo a CRB check Satisfactory references
ASSESSMENT METHODS
There are no formal examinations students need to sit and learning and achievement is assessed based on
portfolio building. The main decision will be made based on your course attendance, skills, knowledge, competence and performance in a real work environment.
