HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT

The Hospitality Management programme is specifically tailored to the conceptual and practical needs of those who wish to pursue a career in the hospitality industry. Professional qualifications course in Hospitality Management provides necessary knowledge base both to the newcomers to the industry and those with practical experience. Qualifications obtained will increase the candidates’ attractiveness to the employers and considerably improve their chances of employment.

  1. Introduction to Housekeeping & Accommodation Studies
  2. Introduction to Restaurant Services
  3. Introduction to Front Office Operations & Administration
  4. Introduction to Food & Beverage Management


Part II

  1. Hotel & Catering Law
  2. Accounting, Purchasing & Cost Control
  3. The Human Resource in Hospitality
  4. Hospitality Management
  5. Marketing for Hospitality & Tourism

Entry Requirements

No formal qualifications are required but applicants should demonstrate their competence in English at upper-intermediate – advanced levels (equiv. to levels B2/C1 of CEFR). It is best to have an IELTS certificate of band 5.0 or above. You may have other equivalent qualifications to prove your proficiency of English language. If you studied in English, i.e. completed a course where English was a teaching medium, this is often a sufficient proof of your English language skills. You need to have a letter confirming that the medium of instruction was English and send this letter to us.

You need to be 18 or over.

Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management (NQF Level-5)

  2. Customer Service (New)
  3. Economics & Hospitality
  4. Organisational Behaviour & Hospitality Management
  5. Environmental Management in the Hospitality Industry

Entry Requirements
The minimum age for registration for this programme is 18.

  1. The ICM Diploma in Hospitality Management
  2. The ICM Diploma in Business Studies (or an equivalent level business studies qualification)
  3. A suitable BTEC National Award

Any business studies qualification equivalent to one of the above,

Part 3 - 12-18 Months; Full-Time
