IELTS is an internationally recognised examination which international students are required to take in order to get admission to a British University.

Most universities require an IELTS score of 6.0 or more.

For this reason, the course is intended for students with upper intermediate or higher level of English.

The course covers listening, reading, writing and speaking modules and involves exam practice in the form of mock exams.

Students may join the course any Monday and  the recommended course duration is 8 – 12 weeks. However, students can undertake fewer or greater number of weeks to study depending on their abilities and requirements.

At Eynsford College we offer full day time IELTS preparation courses, part time evening or weekend courses.

At the end of the course students take an exam in an approved IELTS exam centre.

We can help you to select an exam centre and advise you to book your exams sitting at least two weeks in advance.

Results are usually available within two weeks. You will get an overall score, and individual scores for each module.
