Student Visitor Visa
This visa is different from the "visitor visa" (which does not give the right to study in the UK).
The student visitor visa is for students who want to study in the UK for upto 9 months and do not want to work in the UK.
Student visitor visa can be applied for at the British High Commission in student's home country. This visa gives the right to study in the UK but does not allow the students to work.
Those who do not speak English or whose level is lower than intermediate (B1) level, can apply for this visa. (Note that the minimum level of English required to apply for general student visa is B1 (intermediate level).
Visa nationals have to apply for an entry clearance before travelling to the UK.
Nationals of certain countries such as Japan, Mexico, Brazil, and Korea can apply for the entry clearance at the airport on arrival in the UK. Please check with your local British High Commission.
Student visitor visa can not be extended in the UK.

In order to apply for a general student visa, student's level of English should at least be at intermediate (B1) level of CEFR.
